• Please note that it can take from 3-6 months to receive your license from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.​

 

2. Assistance with Initial Paperwork Submission to Ensure Accuracy:

• When you are ready to submit your paperwork for pharmacy establishment, please contact our credentials company.

• Our designated pharmacist will carefully review and sign the necessary forms as the Pharmacist in Charge before submission to the State Board of Pharmacy for approval.

3. Pre-Inspection Before State Board Inspection:

• A thorough pre-inspection will be conducted by the Pharmacist in Charge to ensure all aspects are in order before the official inspection.

• This pre-inspection will cover legal compliance, equipment readiness, software, inventory, library resources, policies, procedures, and overall pharmacy environment.

 

4. Representation During State Pharmacy Inspection:

• The State Pharmacy Inspection will involve key stakeholders including the Pharmacist In Charge, Pharmacy Owner, and a representative from the State Board.

• An onsite inspection will take place to determine approval or any necessary adjustments on the same day.

 

5. Navigating License Approval & Transfer to PIC:

• Following the inspection, your pharmacy license will be processed and assigned within 1-3 business days.

• The assigned license number will be promptly communicated to the Pharmacist In Charge for immediate action.

• The next step after receiving the license number is a smooth transfer to the new pharmacist in charge of your choice.
